Frequently Asked Questions

Yoga can be an amazing exercise during pregnancy when modified safely as it relieves stress, aches and pains, and connects you to your miracle baby! It’s important to note that our classes are for everyone, and are not specifically prenatal yoga.
You are welcome to join if you feel comfortable moving in your body, and that you are able to make adjustments to keep yourself safe. You should always consult a doctor before beginning any exercise regiment, especially while pregnant.

Yes!! We love welcoming new yogis to our community. One of the best parts about outdoor yoga is that you have plenty of space, and with the headphones and beautiful beach scenery, everyone is really in their own zone! So no one is paying attention to you and you can really take the space to explore the postures and move at your own pace.

We provide headphones, so all you have to do is show up!

They are thoroughly cleaned after each class. The way they work is that you can hear the teacher’s voice and the music coming through the headphones. You can also control the volume to your perfect liking.

Cancel 24 hours or more before the start of class and we’re happy to return a credit to your account for a future class.

If there is rain or smoke or weather in the forecast, we will wait until the last possible moment to decide on hosting class, since we know you want to join, and because the weather moves fast here and very often clears. We will make the call on classes potentially affected by weather at least 2 hours before the start of class. We will post updates on the website and Instagram, and If you are registered for a class, we will email you as well.

A BEACH TOWEL OR YOGA MAT.

As we grow locations may differ however for beach sand yoga, we recommend you bring a towel (a big towel if you have that!) A nice yoga mat will get sandy and sticky. If you have an old/inexpensive mat, that works too.

For a class next to the beach on the grass (i.e. the grassed Scarborough amphitheatre location) we recommend bringing a yoga mat.”
